The short version: be honest, be decent, and don’t list things that aren’t yours. Last updated November 2026.

Listings

Only list startups you own or are authorised to represent. Revenue figures are self-reported by founders; we don’t check them unless a listing is marked verified, and verification only covers the account that was connected. Don’t list anything illegal, deceptive, adult, or spam. We may edit, hide or remove listings, and suspend accounts, at our discretion.

Supporting startups

One vote per person per startup. Don’t use multiple accounts or automation to vote. We remove votes and suspend accounts that do.

Advertising

Sidebar ads run for 30 days (UTC) per booking and are paid upfront through Stripe as a one-off payment. The price is set when you start checkout and rises for everyone after each paid booking. Ads go live when payment clears; we may remove ads that break these terms and refund them. Renewals start when your current 30 days end, at the latest price. Paid dates can’t be moved. Advertising never affects leaderboard rankings. Boosts pin a startup in a separate, clearly labelled “Boosted” section above the leaderboard for a set number of days; they don’t change anyone’s organic rank. Boosts are one-off payments and start when payment is confirmed. Impression and click figures are our best measurement and exclude detected bots.

The joke

This is a humorous site. “Failure”, “graduate” and similar words are jokes, not statements about anyone’s business. Having revenue doesn’t mean being profitable, and having none doesn’t mean failing.

The site is provided as is. We’re not liable for losses arising from using it, including, ironically, lost revenue.
