Privacy policy

Plain English, short on purpose. Last updated November 2026.

What we collect

Your email address. The startups you submit and everything you type into them. Which startups you support. Ad bookings you make.

What we don’t collect

No passwords: you sign in with a one-time link sent to your email. No card details: payments are handled by Stripe and never touch our servers. No third-party advertising trackers.

Affiliate links

Some cards in the side columns and everything on the Tools page are affiliate links, marked “Affiliate”. If you sign up through one we may earn a commission. We count clicks on them per day; we don’t share anything about you with those companies beyond the visit itself.

Analytics

We use Umami, a cookieless analytics service that doesn’t track you across sites. The homepage visit counter is a plain daily count of page views with bots excluded. We count website clicks and ad impressions and clicks to show founders and advertisers how they’re doing. For rate limits and de-duplication we store a salted, shortened hash of your IP address, not the address itself. Hashes used for rate limits are deleted after two days.

What’s public

Your username, display name and avatar appear next to startups you submit. Your email address is never shown publicly. Who supported which startup is not shown, only the totals.

Services we use

Hosting (Vercel), database (Supabase), email (Resend), payments (Stripe) and analytics (Umami). Each processes data only to provide its service.

Your choices

You can edit or permanently delete your listings from your dashboard at any time. To delete your account entirely, email us from the address you signed in with.
